As our vans drive you from Mexico City or Toluca Airport to us, you traverse what is defined as ‘the Southern Plateau’.Ancient lakes have carved deep gorges into the mountains, which in turn are covered with all variety of unusual desert plants and pine/oak forests. Some of our morning guided walks are routed past these plants so bring your camera. And at least one of our breakfast juices is made from cactus!
